Said The Sky New Orleans Concert reviews
Amazing potential to below average show in 60 sec
I was extremely disappointed in the show. I had planned on seeing Said The Sky live ever since their breakup a few years back. The hour they were available to a date of Sept 2nd and the amazing lineup of TBS, Weezer, and Said The Sky. Not only was the show postponed nearly a month (it gets cold in Ohio very quick to say the least), but TBS and, most importantly, Weezer were dropped for the emo teen girl bopping bands All American Rejects and Fall Out Boy. Yuck! I bought tickets Yes, I knew they would eventually come together for at least one more show. They're the greatest rock band of all time. It's just destiny. At this point, I'm seriously thinking about selling my tickets but didn't due to my love for Said The Sky. The show starts and I'm not pumped at all when Fall Out Boy finishes. When I arrive, I find out that All American Rejects has also dropped without any notice. Said The Sky comes on and totally rocks nonetheless. They filled their show with humor between songs. It was everything I hoped for them to be. My two stars come from an awesome headlining band. One star deducted for the delay of the show. One star deducted for a cold, miserable, rainy night to change to. And the last star for changing half the band lineup for the worse.
